The various Redemptorist apostolic units in the Southern Philippines have viable youth programs that have attracted active participation of young people in all kinds of activities: participation in the liturgy, bible-sharing groups, regular youth masses where their creativity is nurtured, reaching out to areas and schools, rehabilitation projects, helping out in campus ministry program, youth camps, recollections, and all sorts of recreation activities.

Seminars are being conducted for young people that include the topics like BEC (basic ecclesial communities), youth catechetics, creative dramatics, theater arts, national and local situationers, and courtship/marriage. There are also youth leadership training programs.

One  activity that brings together the young people who are involved in the Redemptorist youth ministry is the Alphonsian Youth Pilgrimage.

A Province Youth Ministry team has been set up composed of Fr. Gerry Matriano, Fr. Galen Cortes, and Sr. Christia Mayor, MPS. Their main task is to bring together the Youth Link-persons of all the apostolic units for meetings as well as to prepare for the Youth Pilgrimage.
